01
Purpose
This disclosure describes material risks of using Vorka, self-custody, blockchain networks and DeFi. It is not investment, legal or tax advice and cannot identify every possible risk.
02
Self-custody and loss
You control the credentials. If both valid devices and every supported replacement path are lost, Vorka cannot restore access. Transactions sent to an incorrect address may be irreversible.
03
Computer and device risk
Encryption protects material at rest but cannot make an infected computer trustworthy during an unlocked signing session. Malware may capture input, alter displayed details or target decrypted signing capability. USB devices can fail, be copied, stolen or physically damaged.
04
Recovery limitations
Recovery authorizes future replacement of Primary. It does not reverse confirmed transactions, restore lost passwords, repair a compromised blockchain or compensate for an action already signed.
05
Smart-contract risk
Vault and integration code may contain defects despite testing and review. Contract upgrades, chain behaviour and interactions with tokens or third-party protocols may create unexpected outcomes.
06
Blockchain and network risk
Networks may experience congestion, forks, outages, reorganisations, fee spikes or validator failures. RPC information may be inaccurate or unavailable. Finality and transaction rules differ between networks.
07
DeFi and asset risk
Tokens may lose all value. DeFi introduces protocol, oracle, liquidity, governance, bridge, stablecoin and counterparty risks. A supported integration is not an endorsement or guarantee.
08
Regulatory and tax risk
Digital-asset laws and tax treatment vary and can change. You are responsible for determining obligations applicable to your location and activity.
09
Your decision
Use only assets you can afford to lose, verify every operation and keep Recovery physically separate. If you do not understand an operation, do not sign it.
